What’s new



The PIN is an easy way to log in and confirm payments in our app and the Internet Bank.

Why use a PIN?

  • Simple – just enter your PIN when confirming small payments or logging in. You can create your own PIN and choose the length of your PIN from 5 to 8 digits.
  • Secure – your PIN is not stored on your phone and only you know it (just like a bank card). It can also only be used on your phone.
  • Universal – you can use your PIN to both log in and confirm payments (up to EUR 50 5 times in a row) in the app and in your Internet Bank.
  • A great backup solution – it's a good idea to have at least two ways to log in and confirm payments as a backup. With a PIN, you'll be sure you always have access to your money.

How do I get a PIN?

  1. Log in to the Swedbank app using your current login method.
  2. Go to Settings - you'll find it in the top right-hand corner, under your initials.
  3. Scroll down to the "Login methods" function.
  4. Tap "App PIN" to activate the service.
  5. Set your PIN and you're done!

Tip. If you've forgotten your PIN, log in to the app using another authentication method and follow the same steps to create a new one.

View cards’ PIN code

You can now check your card’s PIN code in Swedbank app. Its secure, simple and will help you greatly, if you forget your original PIN or cannot remember it after changing.

  • Easy: PIN code viewing feature is included in Cards section of Swedbank app.
  • Secure: PIN code can be viewed only with your authentication.
  • Convenient: no need to order a new plastic card and wait for it to be delivered if you ever forget your PIN code.
  • Personalized: PIN code can be viewed by the person, whose name is on the card and who can manage the card in Swedbank app. Your PIN code cannot be accessed by anyone else, not even by bank employees – it is ensured by a special solution, meeting highest security standards of PCI DSS.

To view your card’s PIN code in app, log-in and tap on “Cards” section in the bottom menu. After choosing one of your cards, check the new feature under its details – it’s called “Card PIN”. After tapping it, you’ll need to confirm it with your chosen authentication method. After that, the card’s PIN code will be shown for 30 seconds. Be careful when using this feature and do not show your PIN code to other people.

My Budget

Get a categorised overview of all your expenses. Know where you spend to know how to save.

To see My Budget in the mobile app, first click on “Detailed view” next to “Expenses” in the “Overview” tab. Give your consent and it will automatically show up in the app.

Check card details

Now you can easily see the details of your active cards, including card number, expiry date, and CVC/CVC2 code.

  • Simple – find the card credentials feature in the Cards section.
  • Convenient – no need for the physical card when shopping online, just copy the card number from the app.
  • Secure – the information is visible only to the card holder and with their authentication.
    This feature is available for cards in active status. For security reasons, only the card number can be copied, not the ‘Valid Thru’ or ‘CVC/CVC2’ number.

How it works

To view card details, log in to the app, go to the Cards tab, and select Card Credentials for displayed information.

Every request for payment card details requires signing in with the Smart-ID PIN2 code. Card details are shown for 45 seconds, minimizing the risk in case the phone screen is visible to others. If you can't copy the card number in 45 seconds, you can sign in again with PIN2 to have it displayed once more. There's no limit on how often you can view the card details.

Besides new features, we have also updated your favourite and usual ones so you can continue to enjoy them at a new level.

Biometrics and PIN are the most convenient ways to log in to our mobile app and the Internet bank.

  • Log in faster.
  • Instantly check your bank account balance.
  • Confirm transfers. Using biometrics - 10 consecutive times, up to EUR 100 per payment, using PIN - 5 consecutive times, up to EUR 50 per payment.

Receive money from a friend by sending a request in a text message, e-mail or instant message.

  • Prepare the money request in the “Payments” section of the app by clicking (Android) or “Receive money” (iOS).
  • Choose how to send the request link (text message, e-mail or otherwise)
  • Select the person you wish to send money to from the contact list
  • Swedbank customers can make the payment by simply opening the link from the request
  • The maximum amount per request is 500 EUR

Android smartphone users can also make a money request with a QR code.

  • Show your phone screen to a person near you so they can scan the code to start a payment

How to send money request

Transfer money to others by using only their phone number. Set it up with these simple steps.

  • Link your phone number to your bank account in Swedbank mobile app to receive these payments
  • When making a new transfer in the app, choose to find the recipient from your phone contacts or enter the phone number manually
  • You can invite others to link their phone numbers to their bank accounts to transfer money by phone number to each other

New Swedbank Lietuva app is available for any smart device (phone, tablet, etc.) with software versions:

  • iOS: 15.0 or later
  • Android: 5.0 or later

Contactless payments

For using mobile contactless payments in Android:

  • operating system version has to be Android 6.0 or above
  • you must have a Swedbank card with the contactless payment function enabled


For using biometrics:

  • Device must have fingerprint or face recognition sensor
  • Android - 6.0 version
  • iOS - 15.0 version
  • The new Swedbank Lithuania app works on most smartphones and tablets on the market. Your smart device should run:
    • iOS 15.0 or later
    • Android 5.0 or later

If your smartphone and tablet runs an earlier version, unfortunately there is no possibility get the update to the new app and we suggest to use the Internet banking on your phone.

If you do not have any of ours Swedbank apps:

  • Go to Google Play or App Store
  • Download Swedbank Lithuania app
