Introducing the new payment card design

We recommend new and renewed cards to choose to deliver via post. Check the method of card delivery here. Important! Carefully check the delivery address and postal code of the card.

Contactless Debit MasterCard

Contactless MasterCard WEB

  • Cards can be issued to participants of the Youth programme.
  • You can make contactless payments.
  • The card is safe to use, because it is subject to the terms and conditions of the Security
  • Cards can be ordered from the age of 7.
  • Cards can be ordered from the age of 6.

If you have lost your card or it is stolen, please block your card easily in our Internet Bank, Swedbank app or call 1884 (+370 5 268 44 44 for call from abroad).

Internet shopping

We want to make online shopping safer for you. That’s why the internet shopping option must be activated in case of each MasterCard and Visa cards that have been issued by Swedbank and are used to make purchases online. Read more about internet shopping.

Usage limits
  • You can protect your money by choosing usage limits what´s suits to you. You can set separate limits for purchase, cash and payment transactions.
  • You can also increase your limits temporarily if necessary.
Use your bank card with care
  • Make sure you always know where your bank card is. If you pay by card, do not let the person serving you take it to a back room on their own.
  • If you lose your card, immediately block it in the Mobile Bank or call the Consultation Centre and ask them to close it.

  • Never send your card number by post or give it on the telephone when making a purchase.
  • Make sure you only use secure websites when buying goods or services on the Internet. Before entering you card number, find out if any of your friends has ordered anything from the website and whether there were any problems.
  • Be careful when using the ATMs of other banks. Some ATMs return your card before dispensing the money. Make sure you have your bank card and the requested amount of cash before you leave the ATM.
PIN code
  • When you get your bank card, you will also receive a PIN that is known only to you.
  • Do not tell or show it to anyone.
  • Memorise it, do not write your PIN on the card or anywhere else where it can be seen by others.
  • Do not tell your PIN to anyone, not even to bank employees.
  • Try to enter your PIN so that no one else can see it.
  • If you suspect that your PIN has become known to someone else or if the bank has notified you of the need to change your PIN, you must change it immediately. You can do so at any Swedbank ATM.
  • When selecting your PIN, do not re-use your old PIN. Do not use identical codes for different cards for the purpose of memorising them.
