Opening an account and services in foreign banks

The service is designated for customers who have an account with Swedbank, AB and want to open an account with Swedbank Group banks in Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.

Requirements for account opening:

  • The company has to have had an active account in Swedbank for the last 6 months.
  • The company has to have a connection with the country where the account is requested to be opened. The opening of an account has to be justified and necessary for the business activities of the company.
  • The signing of the documentation of the opening of an account will take place in a bank office, by hand.
  • The necessary documents needed for the opening of an account have to be in English.

After receiving the application and all the documents necessary for opening an account, they will be sent to the Swedbank Group bank of your choice to evaluate the start of cooperation.
The requested information contains personal data and we will process such personal data in accordance with Bank’s Principles of Processing Personal Data.
