Credit line

  • If necessary, you can always borrow required funds within the limits of the pre-defined credit line amount.
  • The credit line will help you balance temporary needs of the company’s working capital.
  • You may use and repay part of the credit line at any time by any amount before expiry of the term.

Loan amount and term:
  • The credit line may be granted for a term of 12 months with the right to extend it for another period of 12 months;
  • The minimum credit line amount is EUR 3 000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency;
  • The credit line amount is usually the amount of the company’s average sales of one to two months.
Loan security:
  • The loan may be secured by pledging land and buildings, other movable and/or immovable property, inventories and financial funds (deposit and bank account), guarantees and commitments;
  • The bank may also accept other means of loan security.
Main conditions for receiving a credit line:
  • The company has to operate for at least 1 year;
  • The company must have a bank account at Swedbank for at least 3 months;
  • Property being pledged must be assessed by independent appraisers acceptable to the bank;
  • Property being pledged must be insured at an insurance company acceptable to the bank.
Loan repayment and interest:
  • The interest is calculated from the date when upon the company’s request (payment order) credit line funds are debited from the loan account;
  • The interest is calculated from the outstanding credit line amount until maturity of the credit line;
  • The interest is calculated each month and debited from the account on the last working day of each month.

Information regarding potential risk

Improper fulfilment of your financial obligations increases your funding costs and can negatively affect your credit history; moreover, if the agreement is terminated due to a material violation on your side, forced debt recovery may be launched and you may lose your ownership right to the pledged property.
