Google Pay™

Make daily payments with Google Pay™. Quickly and easily.

Google Pay is a trademark of Google LLC.

  1. Open Swedbank app, choose business customer profile* and go to the “Cards” section.
  2. Choose which card you would like to enroll and click on the card picture.
  3. Tap “Add to Google Pay” button below the business card.
  4. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  5. Set Google Pay as your default mobile contactless payments app via the onboarding process, in Swedbank App or your device settings.
  6. That’s it! Now you can just blip and go!

*The user who have access to card servicing account in company’s Internet Bank and who already can see their cards in mobile app, will have possibility to enroll their own (only own) card to Google Pay.

Important to know!

Adding a card to Google Wallet does not disable Swedbank own mobile contactless payments feature. With Google Wallet set as default, you can still use Swedbank’s own wallet manually

  1. Install Google Wallet. Open the app, then tap on “Add a card or payment method“.
  2. Choose “Debit or credit card“ and enter required card data.
  3. Read and accept terms and conditions.
  4. Tap on “Continue“ to receive a confirmation SMS. Your phone number must be verified in the bank.
  5. Enter the control code from SMS and your card will be added (when your card is successfully added, it will be shown on the first screen in Google Wallet app).
  6. Make Google Wallet your default payment app if you wish to pay with Google Pay by default.

Card user can add additional cards to Google Pay.

For payment with another card added to Google Pay: open Google Wallet App, select card (by swiping cards to the left or right) and tap POS terminal.

You can pay with Google Pay anywhere you see the contactless or Google Pay symbols. To make contactless payments, turn on NFC in the smartphone settings.

  1. Unlock your smartphone.
  2. To pay, hold your smartphone close to the card terminal.

Card payment limits apply.

Only one card can be set as the default card. If you want to use a different card as a default, you can change it in the Swedbank app under "Cards".

Google Pay is available for Android devices using operating system Android 5.0 or above.

Use Google Pay in watches that are using at least Watch OS 3.


To use Google Pay, you need to have an active Swedbank Mastercard card.

Mastercard contactless cards that can be used for mobile contactless payments:

Debit cards
Business Debit Card
Credit cards
Business Credit Card
Business Gold Credit card
  • Enable Google Pay only on your own device. Do not share your mobile device.
  • Do not use a weak password or a weak pattern for your screen lock.
  • Update the software on your mobile device regularly.
  • Have an anti-virus app installed.
  • Use official app stores only. Even if you do use official app stores, stay vigilant. Read reviews and feedback about the app you want to download before installing it.
  • If you lose your device or it is stolen, you can find it, lock or erase using „Find My Device“ in

From 23.03.2021 Swedbank Internet Bank and Banklink is no longer available using Internet Explorer browser.

It is not possible to authorize or make payments from Swedbank on other web pages using Internet Explorer.
