Business Gold Credit Card

Please be informed that starting from 24th September Swedbank is expanding collaboration with our long-term partner Mastercard.

  • As of this date, we will issue new and replaced Business Gold credit cards as Mastercard cards.
  • If you are holder of VISA Business Gold credit card which expires in or before 09/2020 it will be still renewed to VISA Business Gold credit card, but if credit card expires in or after 10/2020 it will be renewed to Mastercard Business Gold credit card.

Information regarding potential risks

Improper fulfilment of your financial obligations increases your funding costs and can negatively affect your credit history; moreover, if the agreement is terminated due to a material violation on your side, forced debt recovery may be launched and you may lose your ownership right to the pledged property.

There is an interest-free period of up to 41 days (from the purchase until the payment date) when paying by card. Interest is calculated from the moment you make a credit transfer or withdraw cash from your credit card account.

It is important for shopping online to be convenient and secure. In order to pay with the card online you must activate Secure Internet Shopping.

Several cards can be ordered and linked to a single account for employees.

Individual usage limits and rights can be set and modified via Internet Bank and Mobile Bank for each cardholder:

  • Allow or disable various card transactions like payments (including contactless), withdrawals, deposits can the Internet Bank user having profile „All transactions and ageements“ to a card account or company’s legal representative having the sole right of representation according to the commercial register.
  • Contactless functionality can be disabled or enabled on Internet bank also by a user having profile „All transactions“ to the card account.

The credit card includes an extensive travel insurance package, which applies to the card holder as well as 3 colleagues travelling with him/her across the whole world.

The sums insured apply for all insurance cases, regardless of how many times they occur during the trip.

The travel insurance is provided by Swedbank P&C Insurance AS branch in Lithuania.

  • The card can only be issued to companies that have operated for at least six months.
  • When applying for a credit card, you must specify the desired credit limit, card holder(s), purchase and cash withdrawal limits.
  • Depending on the company’s turnover and credit history, the minimum credit limit is 300 € and the maximum 32 000 €.
  • Please be aware that during limit granting process some additional documents could be requested. For example your last annual report if it is not submitted to the commercial register. The submitted balance and income statement must not be older than 12 months.
  • The card will be delivered to a branch of your choice within up to 5-10 business days.
  • The agreement must be signed by legal representative and after that the card could picked up in branch by card holder.

  • 1All other issued cards linked to the same credit limit account shall have the same expiry date as the first issued card. For this reason, if a new card is issued at a later date, its period of validity will be less than 3 years.

  • 6It is a period during which no interest rate is paid for unused funds of the credit which were paid for purchases and services by paying by card. This period is set from the moment the funds of the credit are debited to the nearest date of credit repayment.
  • 7When card transaction is made in currency other than euro (including a cash-out with a card), conversion to euro is being calculated using „Mastercard International“ currency exchange rate at transaction processing day and increasing the amount by value stated in the pricelist. The currency exchange calculator provided here can be used to calculate exchange fees.

  • 9At the client’s request, standard daily limits of transaction and periodicity can be changed. Transactions in the credit limit account without using a card are subject to the limits of transactions specified in the Agreement on the Provision of Electronic Services.

PRIORITY PASSTM usage conditions

  • Card purchases have an interest free period of up to 41 days Calculation will start from the time of purchase until the 10st date of the following month.
  • Any credit limit spent and not repaid by the 10th date is automatically transferred from the current account linked to the credit card. Interest starts to accrue if the current account lacks funds for automatic repayment of the whole amount used.
  • Optionally, you can pay additional own funds into the credit card account to increase the limit available on the card, or repay the outstanding limit at any time.
  • In order to obtain complete information about the transactions, one must take account of the statuses assigned to each type of transaction. Details of all transactions already debited are available in the credit card’s account statement, whereas purchases that have the interest-free period are in the list of the same account’s reservations.

If you suspect you have lost your card, you can temporarily disable it via the Internet Bank or through our mobile app (Android only). You have 10 days to reopen your card if you should find it or it will be automatically closed.

If a bank card is stolen, it must be closed immediately. You could do it by yourself in Internet Bank in case You are Internet Bank user and have access rights to card’s servicing account. Or you could do it by calling our business client consultation center on by short number 1633 or at any time (8 5) 268 4820. From abroad you can call by number +370 5 268 4422 or +370 5 268 4820.

If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour Visa help centre +1 410 581 9994.

In case of a new credit card, the PIN is issued in a separate envelope when you collect it at branch.

Renewed cards will have their former PIN.

If you would like to secure PIN then you can change it in Swedbank ATMs in Lithuania.

In security reasons it is allowed to insert PIN wrongly only 2 times. After 3rd time PIN will be automatically blocked:

  • If you block your PIN in POS then you can unblock it in ATM by inserting the correct one in first time.
  • If you block your PIN in ATM or can’t remember the PIN, you need to order the new card.

You can dispute a card transaction sending the bank message, call to consultation center +370 5 268 4422 or turn to nearest branch if:

  • you discover that your account statement includes transactions for which you did not aware of or not reach an agreement with the merchant or service provider.
  • an ATM fails to make a deposit or a withdrawal. For instance, in cases when an ATM does not issue cash upon withdrawal, but the sum is debited from the account or when a deposit is not added to your account.

You should apply to the bank no later than within 60 days after transaction date by filling application.

Your company's financial security is one of Swedbank's top priorities. We encourage you to be responsible users of payment cards and to observe the security conditions for payment cards usage.

  • Only the cardholder - the person whose name appears on the card - may use the card. Do not let anyone, even a close person, to use the card issued in another person’s name.
  • Make sure that you as a cardholder always know where your payment card is.
  • If you pay by card, do not let the person serving you take it to a back room on their own because card data may be stolen.
  • Always check the transaction amount that you approve with the card.
  • Check card transactions regularly via Business Internet Banking or the Swedbank mobile app. If any transaction seems suspicious, please contact the bank immediately.
  • It is not recommended to send card number by post or disclose it over the telephone when making a purchase because card data may be misused for fraudulent transactions but, if there are no other options, please be extra careful.
  • Be careful when using the ATMs of other banks. Some ATMs return payment card before dispensing the money. Make sure that you collect your payment card and the requested amount of cash before you leave the ATM.
  • Check your card’s PIN code in the Swedbank app. Its will help, if you forget your original PIN or cannot remember it after changing. Your PIN code cannot be accessed by anyone else, not even by bank employees – it is ensured by a special solution, meeting highest security standards of PCI DSS.
  • A cardholder receive a new card and also a PIN in a separate envelope Renewed cards will keep their former PIN.
  • Do not tell or show the PIN to anyone, not even to bank employees.
  • Memorise it, do not write down the PIN on the card or anywhere else where it can be seen by others.
  • For payment approval, try to enter the PIN so that no one else can see it. The card can be stolen and be used by somebody else. If the card with PIN code is used by a thief, it is the customer’s own responsibility.

If you suspect that the PIN has become known to someone else or if the bank has notified you of the need to change your PIN, the cardholder must change it immediately. It can be done at any Swedbank ATM. When selecting new PIN, do not re-use your old PIN.

For security reasons, PIN may be entered incorrectly only twice. After the third time, the card will automatically be blocked:

  • If the card is blocked in POS terminal, it may be unblocked in Swedbank ATMs by entering correct PIN at first attempt.
  • If the card gets blocked in ATM , it can be unblocked via the Internet Bank for Business.
  • If the card was stolen, it must be blocked immediately. You can do it by yourself on Swedbank’s Internet Bank for Business, using mobile app or by calling +370 5 268 4422.
  • If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour MasterCard card foreign helpline +1 636 722 7111 (charged).
