Information regarding potential risks

Improper fulfilment of your financial obligations increases your funding costs and can negatively affect your credit history; moreover, if the agreement is terminated due to a material violation on your side, forced debt recovery may be launched and you may lose your ownership right to the pledged property.

  • A credit limit of 300-15 000 €.
  • There is an interest-free period of up to 31 days (from the purchase until the payment date).
  • Transfer money and withdraw cash in ATMs directly from credit limit account.

Note. For a credit transfer or cash withdraw interest is calculated from the moment of transaction.

  • Contactless payments with card up to EUR 50 without PIN entry. For contactless payments abroad limits can differ from country to country.
  • Paying in online stores requires the card to be registered for secure internet shopping.
  • For contactless payments with smart devices a card can be added to supported e-wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay™, Garmin Pay or Fitbit Pay solution, or Swedbank app.

Several cards can be ordered and linked to a single account for employees.

Individual usage limits and rights can be set and modified via Internet Bank and Mobile Bank for each cardholder:

  • Allow or disable various card transactions like payments (including contactless), withdrawals, deposits can the Internet Bank user having profile „All transactions and ageements“ to the card account or a company’s legal representative having the sole right of representation according to the commercial register.
  • Contactless functionality can be disabled or enabled on the Internet Bank as well by a user having profile „All transactions“ to the card account.
  • The card can only be issued to companies that have operated for at least six months.
  • When applying for a credit card, you must specify the desired credit limit, card holder, purchase and cash withdrawal limits.
  • Depending on the company’s turnover and credit history, the minimum credit limit is 300 € and the maximum 15 000 €.

In case of a positive financing decision card will be produced and delivered within 7 business days.

  • By post to the company’s contact address. For security reasons, cards are sent by post inactive.
  • At any Swedbank branch of your choice. Card could picked-up in branch by legal representative as well as by card holder if the agreement is already signed by legal representative (for visiting the branch pre-registration via Internet bank or tel. 1633 is required).
  • Card will be automatically renewed if such order was given by client Renewing will be started on 28 th of month before the existing card expiry mont in accordance to card agreement conditions. You can change renewing status as well as the delivery method and address for a card via the Internet Bank not later than 35 days before the expiry date of existing card.
  • Renewed credit card will be delivered at least two weeks before the expiry of the old card to your company's contact address or a suitable Swedbank branch (for visiting the branch pre-registration via Internet bank or tel. 1633 is required).
  • Renewed cards will have their former PIN.

Order the card to your company's contact address

  • Sending the card by post is free of charge.
  • Make sure that your company's contact address is correct before ordering the card.
  • Your company's contact address changes automatically if you change the card delivery address.

New or renewed card delivered by post can be used only after agreement is signed and card activated. For more information check “Activation” part under “Card management” tab.

  • 1All other issued cards linked to the same credit limit account shall have the same expiry date as the first issued card. For this reason, if a new card is issued at a later date, its period of validity will be less than 3 years.

  • 8At the client’s request, standard daily limits of transaction and periodicity can be changed. Transactions in the credit limit account without using a card are subject to the limits of transactions specified in the Agreement on the Provision of Electronic Services.
  • 9Upon the Bank’s approval, a bigger than standard limit for depositing cash at ATMs of Swedbank, AB may be set, which is valid until the date of expiry of the card.

If the card is received by post:

  • If the Card Agreement is already signed, the credit card can be activated in the Internet Bank by user having minimum profile „All transactions“ to card account.
  • If the Card Agreement is not signed, the card can be activated together with agreement signing by legal representative who has the sole right of representation according to the commercial register and has logged in to Internet Bank with Smart ID, Mobile ID or ID card.

At branch:
The card received in branch is activated by a branch employee after agreement is signed by legal representative and handed over to card holder or legal representative who, according to the commercial register is authorized to represent the company and sign the agreement.

  • Card purchases have an interest free period of up to 31 days Calculation will start from the time of purchase until the 1st date of the following month.
  • Any credit limit spent and not repaid by the 1st date is automatically transferred from the current account linked to the credit card. Interest starts to accrue if the current account lacks funds for automatic repayment of the whole amount used.
  • If a mandatory regular payment (5% of the credit limit) is set forth in the agreement, it will be transferred from the current account and interest will accrue on the outstanding credit limit.
  • Optionally, you can pay additional own funds into the credit card account to increase the limit available on the card, or repay the outstanding limit at any time.
  • In order to obtain complete information about the transactions, one must take account of the statuses assigned to each type of transaction. Details of all transactions already debited are available in the credit card’s account statement, whereas purchases that have the interest-free period are in the list of the same account’s reservations.

If you suspect you have lost your card, you can temporarily disable it via the Internet Bank or through our mobile app (Android only). You have 10 days to reopen your card if you should find it or it will be automatically closed.

If a bank card is stolen, it must be closed immediately. You could do it by yourself in Internet Bank in case You are Internet Bank user and have access rights to card’s servicing account. Or you could do it by calling our business client consultation center on by short number 1633 or at any time (8 5) 268 4820. From abroad you can call by number +370 5 268 4422 or +370 5 268 4820.

If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour Visa help centre +1 410 581 9994.

You can dispute a card transaction sending the bank message, call to consultation center +370 5 268 4422 or turn to nearest branch if:

  • you discover that your account statement includes transactions for which you did not aware of or not reach an agreement with the merchant or service provider.
  • an ATM fails to make a deposit or a withdrawal. For instance, in cases when an ATM does not issue cash upon withdrawal, but the sum is debited from the account or when a deposit is not added to your account.

You should apply to the bank no later than within 60 days after transaction date by filling application.

Your company's financial security is one of Swedbank's top priorities. We encourage you to be responsible users of payment cards and to observe the security conditions for payment cards usage.

  • Only the cardholder - the person whose name appears on the card - may use the card. Do not let anyone, even a close person, to use the card issued in another person’s name.
  • Make sure that you as a cardholder always know where your payment card is.
  • If you pay by card, do not let the person serving you take it to a back room on their own because card data may be stolen.
  • Always check the transaction amount that you approve with the card.
  • Check card transactions regularly via Business Internet Banking or the Swedbank mobile app. If any transaction seems suspicious, please contact the bank immediately.
  • It is not recommended to send card number by post or disclose it over the telephone when making a purchase because card data may be misused for fraudulent transactions but, if there are no other options, please be extra careful.
  • Be careful when using the ATMs of other banks. Some ATMs return payment card before dispensing the money. Make sure that you collect your payment card and the requested amount of cash before you leave the ATM.
  • A cardholder receive a new card and also a PIN in a separate envelope Renewed cards will keep their former PIN.
  • Do not tell or show the PIN to anyone, not even to bank employees.
  • Memorise it, do not write down the PIN on the card or anywhere else where it can be seen by others.
  • For payment approval, try to enter the PIN so that no one else can see it. The card can be stolen and be used by somebody else. If the card with PIN code is used by a thief, it is the customer’s own responsibility.

If you suspect that the PIN has become known to someone else or if the bank has notified you of the need to change your PIN, the cardholder must change it immediately. It can be done at any Swedbank ATM. When selecting new PIN, do not re-use your old PIN.

Do not use identical PIN codes for different cards for the ease of memorising them.

In security reasons it is allowed to insert PIN wrongly only 2 times. After 3rd time PIN will be automatically blocked:

  • If you block your PIN in POS then you can unblock it in ATM by inserting the correct one in first time.
  • If you block your PIN in ATM or can’t remember the PIN, you need to order the new card.
  • If a payment card is lost or stolen, it must be closed immediately. This can be done on your own Internet Bank or the mobile app, by calling our business client consultation center on short number 1633 or at any time (8 5) 268 4820. From abroad you can call the number +370 5 268 4422 or +370 5 268 4820. For security reasons, we advise cardholders to keep Swedbank's phone numbers in their phone's memory.
  • If your card is lost or stolen abroad and you are unable to contact us, you can block the card by calling the 24-hour MasterCard card foreign helpline +1 636 722 7111 (charged) or VISA card 24h international assistance line on +1 410 581 9994 (charged).
