The investment decisions in „Swedbank investicijų valdymas“, UAB will be transferred to Swedbank Robur in Sweden as of 5 May of this year. This is a natural step in Swedbank Group's development strategy, since the acquisition of AB bankas Hansabankas, of forming one unified asset management working as one organization out of one geographical location.

The business and the relationship with customers will remain local. Daily investment matters will be handled from Sweden, but the funds will stay registered in Lithuania.

"I strongly believe that the integration of the asset management organizations will enable us to take advantage of Swedbank Robur's solid experience and structured investment process. A team compiled of specialists from both Swedbank Robur and the Baltic investment companies will create a strong united competence center that will strengthen our positions and customer relations in Lithuania and the Baltic Region", - says Aurimas Maždžierius, head of „Swedbank investicijų valdymas“, UAB.

Mats Lagerqvist, CEO of Swedbank Robur, informs that Swedbank Robur has performed internationally for more than 20 years. With an active management approach, Swedbank Robur has received well respected national and international rewards.

"By forming one unified asset management we will be able to deliver attractive product offerings and high-quality performance for pension and other investment funds, to reach higher customer satisfaction, both in the Baltics and Sweden," - says M. Lagerqvist.
