From 17 March, AB bankas Hansabankas continues in operation under the new legal name of „Swedbank", AB. Together with the bank the names of its subsidiaries have also been changed.All agreements on products and services concluded with the bank or subsidiaries thereof before the day of the change remain effective - the rights and obligations of the bank, its subsidiaries and customers do not change as well as account numbers, login passwords and PIN codes provided for in the agreements.
The bank's legal form, head office, legal person's code, VAT Payer's code, Registrar, SWIFT/BIC code, and bank code remain unchanged.
From today local payments in litas and payments made to foreign countries will be made using only the new legal name of the bank - „Swedbank", AB. International payments addressed to AB bankas Hansabankas will also reach the bank after the change of its legal name, however, we recommend communicating to your partners the new legal name of the bank - „Swedbank", AB, and when carrying out financial operations, filling in accounting documents and in similar cases using the new legal name „Swedbank", AB. Payments sent before change of the name will reach their destinations.
Subsidiaries of the bank have also been renamed and from today have new legal names. Moreover, the bank's subsidiary UAB Hansa gyvybės draudimas has also changed its legal form and legal name and from now on it will be designated as „Swedbank gyvybės draudimas", AB. Head office addresses of all subsidiaries of the bank and other particulars, such as the legal person's code, VAT Payer's code, Registrar, SWIFT/BIC code, bank code and account numbers remain the same.

Today Latvian and Estonian banks belonging to the same Swedbank Group also change their legal names and from now on they will be designated as Swedbank AS - in Estonia and „Swedbank" AS - in Latvia.
