Hansabankas offers paying utility bills over the phone

In order to ensure best service to its customers, Hansabankas has started, from April, offering new telephone banking facilities that allow their users access a wider range of transactions/payments over the phone.

Staring from 1 April 2005, the customers, who have subscribed to the Bank's telephone banking facility, may now pay their utility bills, order debit cards or ask for a replacement of payment cards (if it has been lost or damaged or PIN forgotten) over the phone. In addition, if they want to de-block temporary blocked payment cards or cancel a payment orders, they can get in touch with telephone banking specialists over the phone.

"Paying of bills and conducting other bank transactions over the phone is a very convenient and time-saving option. Having this in mind, we are doing our best to develop as many as possible telephone banking services", - commented Orinta Bertasiene, Director of Telephone Banking Department of Hansabankas. According to her, telephone banking services are particularly appreciated by those customers who are after up-to-date technologies and live an active life.

Telephone banking services may also be useful when one is on holiday and cannot visit a bank office or have an access to Internet.

The Bank has been offering telephone banking services since September of 2002. For ensuring security of these services, special up-to-date technologies have been put into operation.
