“Hansabankas” Group pension funds accumulated more than LTL 134 million

Amount transferred on Saturday by Sodra to "Hansabankas" Group pension funds amounted to LTL 31,1 million or exceeded by 4 per cent more the amount transferred in the previous quarter, when "Hansabankas" pension funds were supplemented by LTL 29,9 million.
Total amount of funds accumulated in "Hansabankas" Group pension funds already amounts to LTL 134,4 million. The average amount accumulated in the pension account per client of pension fund of "Hansabankas" Group who signed a pension agreement in 2003 is LTL 634. Those clients who have signed agreements a year later have accumulated about LTL 254 in their accounts.
Individuals entering the labour market this year can sign pension agreements by 1 October. A new stage of the distribution of pensions to Lithuanian individuals will commence from 1 January 2006.
In terms of numbers of signed pension agreements, "Hansabankas" Group holds the largest share of the pension market – 300,1 thousand, or even 43,8 per cent of individuals who have signed pension agreements (data of end-August) have associated their future with "Hansabankas".
Profitability of the most active investment fund of "Hansabankas" - "Pension 3" from the beginning of its operation until 31 August of this year has reached 16,87 per cent, of "Pension 2" – 10,75 per cent, whereas profitability of the conservative fund "Pension 1" has increased by 5,85 per cent*.

Also, the Internet bank "hanza.net" announces information about transferred and accumulated funds and provides the opportunity to select another pension fund, where appropriate. "Hansabankas" Group manages 3 pension funds: "Pension 1", "Pension 2" and "Pension 3".
