"Hansa gyvybės draudimas" has offered to its customers a new investment life assurance line - "Shares of Russian companies". In addition, this insurance company has introduced one more new "Hansa pension plus" investment line "Pension 3 plus". 100 per cent of the funds of this investment line will be invested into shares.
In the opinion of Darius Valentukevičius, Director of "Hansa gyvybės draudimas", such actions of this company were encouraged by grown demand for more active investment among residents. "Investment life assurance is preferred by increasing numbers of customers - recently this type of insurance is selected more often than products which guarantee certain return. These changes were caused by growing interest of Lithuanian residents in investments and last years' good return on investments in stock markets, in particular in the Central and East European Region", - said D.Valentukevičius. "Being aware of our customers' inclination to opt for more risky products which are likely to yield more profit in future, we have created these new investment lines"- explained D.Valentukevičius.
Funds of the new investment line "Shares of Russian companies" will be invested into shares of Russian companies via investment units of the Fund "Hansa Rusijos akcijų fondas". This Fund is investing into the Russian market the funds entrusted to it. Also, it may invest into companies which are not registered in Russia, but successful business of which depends upon investment processes taking place in Russia. The Fund actively manages investments to make use of the growth potential of the most perspective Russian companies.
The Investment Fund "Hansa Rusijos akcijų fondas" was established in 1997 and at present manages the assets of LTL 29,7 million. During past five years the average annual profitability of the Fund reached 33,4 per cent, and the nine months' return on investments of the Fund accounted for 79,9 per cent.
The new investment line "Pension 3 plus" of "Hansa pension plus" will enable to invest into the companies' shares up to 100 per cent of all entrusted funds. This investment line is being actively managed. Investing decisions are taken by experts of UAB "Hansa investicijų valdymas". Presently the larger part of funds (about 60 per cent) is invested into the shares of Eastern and Central Europe, and the remaining part - into stock market indices of other countries (regions).
"These investment lines are related with high risks; however, potential profit also considerably exceeds return on investments of those who invest solely into securities (bonds) or into the shares of countries of Western Europe. We recommend selecting the investment line "Shares of Russian companies" as a component part of investment portfolio. With a view to optimal management of investment risks we recommend to invest the funds for at least 5-year period", - suggests Darius Valentukevičius.
